Last night (14/07/2015) Univent Systems witnessed an unlucky defeat which saw non- league side Nuneaton lose just 3-0 to championship side Birmingham City in what was a very entertaining game and one enjoyed by all.
Univent staff attended the corporate night after announcing the exciting sponsorship deal with Nuneaton Town FC which will see Univent Systems sponsor not only Nuneaton Town First Team but also their development sides from the ages of Under 10’s.
Nuneaton held Birmingham at just 1-0 in the first half, but a change around from both teams at half time wasn’t enough for the Boro to claw it back, seeing Birmingham put 2 more away in the second half securing their 3-0 victory.
The game was a learning curve for both teams with both fielding experimental formations, tactics and players in preparation for the new season.
Univent systems being big football enthusiasts, despite the rain, turned out in force to support their local non-league side and newly found sponsorship partners Nuneaton Town FC.
Managing Director Jeff Wheeler said “Not only was this an opportunity for us to show our support to Nuneaton but it was a great moral boost for the workplace. We will be attending more of these corporate events throughout the season and I would like to thank Nuneaton Town for the fantastic opportunity we have been given and hope to continue this valued relationship.”
On behalf of Univent Systems we would like to say unlucky lads and wish them luck in the new season.
